Farmer hacked to death in Jessore

A farmer was hacked to death by miscreants after calling him out over the cell phone at Andolpota village under Jessore sadar upazila.
The dead was identified as Azizul Sarder,32, son of Alauddin Sarder of Andolpota village.
Shahjahan Ali, uncle of the dead told journalists that body of the his nephew was recovered from near the safetic tank of Andolpota Secondary School under Kotwali police station at around 1am on Monday. The body was wrapped in a sack there. He had been going missing since 8pm on Sunday after he was called out by Tariqul Islam, night guard of the school. ‘
The night guard called my nephew out over mobile phone to pay Tk 1,30,000 which was due to the night guard,’ retired government official Shahjahan Ali added.
Sub inspector Tareq Nahian of Kotwli police station told that the youth could be hacked to death.
Sub inspector Habibur Rahman , duty officer, Kotwali police station told that the police night guard Tariqul Islam in this connection. However, no case was lodged with the police station immediately.
