Farman R Chowdhur, Managing Director and CEO of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited (AIBL) and General Manager of Accounts and Budgeting Department of Bangladesh Bank (BB), exchanging document after signing an agreement on Automated Challan System (ACS) at BB head office recently. Under the deal, all the branches and sub-branches of AIBL will now be able to collect passport Fees, VAT, tax, and other government fees using ACS. BB Deputy Governor Ahmed Jamal and other senior officials from both sides were present.
