Faridpur District emerged regional champions to reach the semifinal of the Dhaka Divisional Commissioner Gold Cup Football Tournament beating Gopalganj District by 4-0 goals at the Faridpur Stadium on Saturday.
Prasanta struck two, Shawon and Russell scored one each for the winners.
In the semifinals, Faridpur will play Tangail while Narayanganj will face Manikganj.
