Faridpur Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FCCI), the prime business body of the district, elected four office-bearer unopposed on Monday for the April 2015-April 2017 period.
The elected office bearers are: Md Jahangir Mia- president, Forkan Ahmed Khan- Sr. vice president, Nasiruddin Khan- vice-president and Khondoker Shahin Ahmed- vice-president.
Earlier twenty-two directors were elected unopposed. The newly elected office bearers were elected by the twenty-two directors.
The oath taking of the newly elected office bearers will be held on 9th April afternoon at local Ambica Memorial Hall where Overseas Employment and Expatriate Welfare Minister Engineer Khondoker Mosharraf Hossain will be the chief guest.
