Farhana Salam is a popular news presenter of ATN Bangla. For the last 12 years she has been presenting news in same channel successfully. After receiving training on news presentation she started to work on ATN Bangla.
Now she is a senior news presenter of the channel. After completing Honours and Masters in Accounting from Eden College, Farhana Salam joined BCIC as Assistant Manager in 2013.
While talking about working as news presenter for an era Farhana Salam told this correspondent, “In the beginning, I started news presentation passionately. Due to time span love and affection to it has increased. If any reason I would not be able to news present I feel really bad. News presentation is an important task. I always give priority to it. Not only office inspires me but also viewers can give me power to do this work successfully and joyfully. Overall, it has become part and parcel of my life. When anybody appreciates my presentation I feel happy. I always try to do my work sincerely and cordially.”
Farhana also mentioned that her two sisters – Fahmida Salam and Sharmin Salam are also engaged with news presentation in two separate satellite channels. Their father Abdus Salam died on April 29 in 2013.
