Sheikh Arif Bulbon :Professionally Khalid Hossain Samrat and Farhana Mili started their journeys in media simultaneously. But they never got the opportunity to work together. For the first time they got the scope to work together in a TV play. This time Farhana Mili worked under Samrat’s direction in a play titled Ghunpoka.Last week shooting of the play was wrapped up at Pubail’s a shooting house in Gazipur. Sayeed Babu worked against Farhana Mili in the play where Mili acted in a challenging role.While talking about her role in the play Farhana Mili told this correspondent, “In fact, I have achieved a new experience to work under Samrat Bhai’s direction. He is a full-fledged director. He works in organised way. I am really impressed to work under his direction. Overall I have worked in a play which I liked most. I believe viewers will enjoy the play.”Director Samrat shared his feelings by this way, “Basically the play Ghunpoka is one of liking projects. Main theme of the play was given by me. I have enjoyed a lot working in this play. I worked very sincerely and cordially while giving direction of the play. When I thought about story of the play I selected Mili in my mind. She has tried her level best effort to make it properly. He has done well. As a director, I am also satisfied with her performance.”Rana Jakaria wrote story of the play under the concept given by director Samrat. Meanwhile, Samrat has already finished shooting of a special telefilm titled Chairman-er Choritro Phuler Moto Pobitro, which focuses on his father Razzak. It is scheduled to be aired on Channel i. On the other hand, Animesh Aich’s Bubuner Shat Shotero and Sumon Anwar’s Glamour World are Farhana Mili’s acted two new serials, she said. However, Farhana Mili’s several serials: Noim Imtiaz Neyamul’s Bakshobondi, Aronno Anwar’s Dohon and Alvi Ahmed’s Shunnyo Thekey Shuru – are being aired on NTV, ATN Bangla and RTV respectively now.
