To telecast on NTV from July 21, Nazrul Islam Raju has made a new drama serial titled Ghumonto Shohorey. According to director Raju, shooting of first phase (16 episodes) of the serial has already been finished. He has planned to make the serial in 104 episodes which story was written by Matia Banu Shuku. Contemporary stories of our daily life are focused in the story of the serial.
Director Raju said, “In my directed serials, I always tried to tell activities of our daily life. Story of Ghumonto Shohorey is the reflection of our real life. I make serial to keep in mind the mind of mass people. I never compromise with the story of my works. In fact, actors also co-operated me well. For this reason, I give thanks to them who work under my direction.”
Three popular actors of present time – National Film Award winner actor Shatabdi Wadud, viewers’ choice actress Farhana Mili and versatile actress Ashna Habib Bhabna – acted in three important roles in the serial.
Shatabdi Wadud said, “It is no doubt that Raju Bhai is a talented director. He can return works from the actors in right time. Actors also work under his direction willingly. It is his credit as a director.”
Farhana Mili said, “Earlier under Nazrul Islam Raju’s direction I acted in a challenging role in a drama titled Made In Bangladesh. Raju Bhai works cordially and also sincerely which reflects in the making of the serial.”
From London Bhabna told this correspondent over mobile phone yesterday, “In the serial, I am acting in role of a parlour girl. It is an exceptional role for me. As a director, Raju Bhai is a talented and sincere person. He is also perfectionist. I have really enjoyed his direction in the serial.”
