On the occasion of birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, a special telefilm titled Upohar will be telecasted today on Channel i at 3:00pm. F Zaman Taposh has made the telefilm, which 40 seconds’ promotion has already received appreciation from the viewers. Taposh informed that the cast of the telefilm includes Shilpi Sarkar Apu, Abdun Noor Shajal, Farhana Mili, among others.
While talking about making the telefilm director Taposh said, “Context of the story of the telefilm is based on the liberation war. After many years, I worked with the story of liberation war. My son Faiyaduzzaman Tamim wrote story of the telefilm. His story concept is nice. Viewers will realise it after watching the telefilm where Apudi, Shajal, Mili – everybody acted well. I have tried my level best to make the telefilm. I believe viewers will enjoy the telefilm.”
Shajal shared his feelings by this way, “Earlier, I acted in dramas and telefilms which stories were based on the liberation war. In Upohar, I also acted in role of a freedom-fighter. March 17 was the birth anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. I pay homate to him. As a pair, Farhana Mili-Shajal-starrer mentionable works are: Kal Nitur Biye, Ektu Sneho, Jiboner Rong, etc. Shajal also said that he has finished shooting of Robi directed drama titled Kagojer Manush. Sarika was his co-actress in the drama.
On the other hand, Mili has finished shooting of BTV’s Bishwa Natok titled Chhaya Basona. Fazlul Karim has scripted the drama. Therefore, Mili acted and Roni Khan directed drama titled Noisshobder Kanna is expected to telecast on Channel i this month, Farhana Mili also said.
