She tried to perform in the depth of her character while acting and I found her so serious while taking part in shooting. I believe she will act better in the long run. I wish her success,” Film Monpura famed popular actress Farhana Mili said this about Lux superstar, popular model and TV actress Mehazabien Chowdhury yesterday. Mili and Mehazabien performed together in Nazmul Haque Bappy’s directed a play titled Meghey Dhaka Akash. Sadia Zafrin has written story of the play. The play has been made last week to air on NTV on the occasion of coming Eid-ul-Azha. In the play, Farhana Mili acted in role of an interior designer, while Mehazabien acted in role of a blind girl. While talking about the play and their performances Mehazabien told this correspondent, “Mili Apu is a fine actress. Her politeness impressed me a lot. I always felt that my elder sister stayed behind me and also cooperated me while taking part in shooting of the play. Though it was my first work with her but I didn’t feel like that.”Today Farhana Mili is engaged with shooting of Dipu Ashraf’s directed a play titled Bunophul. Therefore, Farhana Mili’s acted several drama serials are being aired in different satellite channels now. Of those serials, Ekjon Mayaboti, Tini Ashben, Dohon and Ujan Ganger Naiya – Season 2 are being aired on Channel i, Banglavision, ATN Bangla and Bangladesh Television respectively. However, Farhana Mili acted and Alvi Ahmed directed another serial titled Shunnyo Thekey Shuru will go on air soon, Mili said.On the other hand, Mehazabien Chowdhury has finished shooting of E Haque’s directed a play titled Bou Pherot. Singer cum TV actor Jon acted against her in the play.
