In 2009, Farhana Mili acted and Gias Uddin Selim directed movie Monpura was released. On that year Mili last performed as a model in a TV commercial of Banglalink. She performed in role of a bride in the TVC. Later she got many offers to perform as a model. For this reason, viewers did not watch her in any TVC for last six years. In the meantime, Mili did not act in any movie. Though she showed her keen interest to act in a movie titled Shimanter Choruibhati but later she disagreed to work.
After a long time, Mili performed in a TVC of Sri Lanka’s company, Milka Biscuit under the direction of Rafi Muhammad. Shooting of the TVC began last week in a shooting house in the capital.
While sharing her feelings to perform in the TVC Farhana Mili told this correspondent, “Rafi Muhammad is my classmate. I have liked concept of his TVC. Therefore, I was informed about his previous works. For this reason, I agreed to work in the TVC and I was really satisfied with it. I believe viewers will enjoy the TVC.”
Director Rafi Muhammad informed that the TVC will go on air soon in different satellite channels.
It may be mentioned that during her childhood Farhana Mili first performed as a model in a TVC of Pepsi under the direction of Tariq Anam Khan. After getting matured she again performed as model in Amitav Reza’s TVCs Sohag Chair Coach Bus and Aktel, under Tariq Anam Khan’s direction in a TVC of GrameenPhone.
