Yesterday was the last day of 2019. Popular actress Farhana Mili wrapped up the year with her acted TV play titled Otithi, which was telecasted on Channel i. Yamin Elan gave direction of the play under the story written by Jamal Hossain.
Shooting of the play was done two months ago. Mili acted in an important role in the play while playwright Jamal Hossain’s daughter Rongon also acted.
While talking about acting in the play Farhana Mili told this correspondent, “Earlier I knew the name of Jamal Hossain as a lyricist. But he writes play which I do not know. He writes many good stories for plays which I have realised to work in this play. I have tried my level best to portray my role. Rongon was also with me. She also tried to act well.”
It is noted that earlier Jamal-written three plays – Gontobbyo, Smarok and Biproteep got popularity. Yamin Elan made all these three plays.
Meanwhile, Mili has started shooting of Nazrul Islam Raju’s ongoing serial Ghumonto Shohorey. However, Mili-starrer another serial Cheating Master, which is being aired on RTV will finish soon. Recently Mili also performed as a model in a TV commercial directed by Joyonto Rozario.
