Speakers at a farewell programme organised at Hazi Abdul Awal College said that morality, punctuality, truthfulness and attentiveness are qualities of a good citizen.
So, every student should nourish these qualities to achieve success in individual and national life. The ideal citizens only can serve the nation and the society, they said.

The speakers quoted a line from English Poet Shelley, “If the winter comes, can the spring be far behind,” and said that the learners should be optimist, and not pessimist.
The students, we hope, will reform themselves and the society.
Teachers, guardians, former and incumbent students of the institution were present at the programme. Md Shahidul Alam, principal of the college, presided over the farewell programme
The programme concluded with a doa-mahfil. Before it, admit cards and educational materials were distributed among the examinees.
