Nazmul Roni is a busy play director of present time. Besides making TV dramas, Roni is giving scope to other directors to make their dramas under his own production house, NR Media.
Now family story based dramas are being made a little bit. But somebody is trying to portray family stories in their works. Director Nazmul Roni has made a drama titled Toke Bhalobasi Ami, which is based on a family story.
Choyton Dev wrote story of the play where Sohel Arman, Naznin Chumki, Apurba, Safa Kabir, Joni and Chamak Tara acted in different roles.
Director Roni informed that on the occasion of marriage anniversary of Sohel Arman, his two sister-in-laws – Safa and Chamak came to his residence. Story of the play revolves with two brothers – Apurba and Joni and Safa and Chamak later. For the first time, Sohel Arman and Apurba worked together in a drama, which will be telecasted in a TV channel and YouTube channel of My Sound soon. Apurba acted in several numbers of dramas under Sohel Arman’s direction, while under Roni’s direction, Apurba and Safa for the first time worked together in this play. Overall, Roni showed his charisma in selection of actors for the drama.
Roni also said that he had experience to work with Naznin Chumki, who was director of a drama, as her assistant. This time Chumki acted under his direction.
While talking about acting in the drama Sohel Arman said, “I enjoyed a lot working with Chumki after a hiatus. I had a good attachment with Apurba. For this reason, while acting I never thought it was my first acting with him. Rest of the actors also acted well in the drama.”
Chumki shared her feelings by this way, “Director Roni was my assistant in a drama earlier. This time I worked under his direction, which I liked much. Sohel Arman Bhai, Safa, Apurba, Joni, Chamak – everybody tried to give their level best while acting in the play.”
Apurba said, “I like both writing and direction of Sohel Bhai. Once he was regular in acting and also got popularity among the viewers. It is really a likeable matter for me to work with him in a common frame. It is also a likable matter that Chumki Apa also acted in this play.”
“It was my first work under this director’s direction. As story of the play is based on family drama, so it inspired me to work. I always want to work in good story based dramas,” Safa Kabir said this while sharing her feelings about acting in the drama.
