Staff Reporter :
The family members of Class 1V student Kutub Uddin Pappu have requested for Prime Minister (PM)’s intervention to arrest the abductors of their missing kith.
Family members, including his mother, in order to draw the attention of the government held a press conference at the Crime Reporters’
Association of Bangladesh (CRAB) on Saturday.
Pappu’s mother said, my 14 years old son disappeared from the Jatrabari Dholair Par area of the capital on October 3. Since then there has been no trace of him despite all our efforts and filing of missing case. As such we decided to hold a press conference at the CRAB on Saturday.
She said, her younger son Pappu was a student of Class 1V in the Udayan Kindergarten School. He went out of the house on October 3, but did not return. So, we filed a case with Jatrabari Police Station.
On October 5, an unidentified person sent to me a photograph of Pappu’s covered eyes, saying that Pappu was with him. If you pay me Tk two crore, he will be released.
Later, we met the officials of the Serious Crime Investigation Department of Dhaka Metropolitan Police.
As such, the mother said, I am making an appeal to the Prime Minister for her intervention so that I can get back my son.
