Miscreants have threatened family members of Mamun Dewan alias DH Mamun, Agriculture and Livestock Resources Secretary of Freedom Party ( FP) central committee and General Secretary of Munshiganj District Freedom Party over phone recently.
It is alleged that at about 10 pm on September 26, 2014, an unknown person phoned Rajia Sultana, wife of Mamun Dewan and wanted to know whereabouts of her husband . When she told him that he (Mamun Dewan) is now out of country , the unidentified person said, let him come to the country to face consequence.
He also threatened his wife and family members saying that Mamun Dewan has been posting different comments against government in the face book and told them to stop it otherwise his wife and two children will be killed.
A general diary ( No- 93, dated 02-10-2014) has been has been lodged with Jatrabari Police Station in this regard.
