The family of imprisoned BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia appealed seeking extension of her parole to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
In the application, Khaleda’s family also appealed to allow the BNP chairperson to go out of the country for better treatment, Somoy TV reports.
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan said, “A letter has been sent to the law ministry for further action on her release.”

a special court in the Zia Orphanage Trust corruption case on February 8, 2018.
On March 25, Khaleda was released from jail for six months upon an execute order considering her age and humanitarian ground.
The government passed the executive order for her release on two conditions-receiving treatment staying at her Gulshan residence and not leaving the country.
