Court Correspondent :The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka yesterday (Monday) placed BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s adviser Mosaddek Ali Falu on five-day remand in an arson case filed with Khilgaon police station in the city.Magistrate Md Hasibul Haque of the CMM Court passed the order in the afternoon. Earlier on Monday morning, the Investigation Officer (IO) of the case and Khilgaon Police Station Sub-Inspector Belal Hossain produced Falu before the court with a ten-day remand prayer.The court rejected a bail petition filed by a defense lawyer on behalf of Mosaddek Ali Falu.The case was lodged in connection with torching a bus of Turag Paribahan near Khilgaon flyover on January 30.
