The High Court on Thursday granted bail to detained BNP chairperson’s adviser Mosaddek Ali Falu in a case filed with Badda Police Station under the Explosive Substances Act, clearing the way for his release from jail.
An HC bench comprising Justice Nuruzzaman Nabi and Justice Abdur Rob passed the order after hearing a petition filed by Falu’s lawyers.
Falu’s lawyer adv Masud Rana said as Falu was granted bail in two separate
cases filed with Mirpur and Khilgaon Police Station earlier, now there is no legal bar to his client’s release from jail . Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested Falu from the gate of BNP chairperson’s Gulshan office on February 1.
