Staff Reporter :BNP acting secretary general, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir took shelter in the National Press Club on Monday night. He was waiting for the order of party high command [of BNP] to leave the Press Club till the time of filing this report at 9:45 pm yesterday. Earlier in the day, he appeared in a function organised by a pro-BNP professionals’ body after being in hiding for the last few days. He was also scheduled to address a press conference over ongoing political situations in the afternoon but he avoided the press conference. But he did not leave the club even after the programme was postponed.Confirming the matter Jatiya Ganatantrik Party (JAGPA) Chairperson Shafiul Alam Pradhan said that BNP acting secretary general was staying in the press club.
