Staff Reporter :BNP Acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir was released from Kashimpur Jail on Tuesday evening. On Monday, a High Court bench granted himsix-month interim bail in a case filed with Ramna Thana. The BNP leader was accused of instigating a bomb-attack in the city’s Malibagh on November 30 last year, in which one Habibur Rahman was killed. Police filed a murder case against 50-60 unidentified people. Mirza Fakhrul’s name was indicted as the instigator of the incident.On March 16, Mirza Fakhrul was sent to jail after he along with two other BNP leaders surrendered to a Dhaka court and sought bail in three murder cases.
