Court Correspondent :A charge sheet against 29 BNP leaders, including the party’s Acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir was submitted to the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka on Thursday.Sub-Inspector Ashfaque Rajib Hasan of Ramna Police Station filed the case on the charges of vandalism, arson and explosion taking place on March 2 of last year. Magistrate Anwar Sadat of Dhaka CMM Court received the charge sheet. Detective Branch (DB) Inspector Fazlur Rahman submitted the charge sheet on Wednesday.Mirza Abbas, Barrister Moudud Ahmed, Gayeswar Chandra Roy, Abdullah Al Noman, Amanullah Aman, Sultan Salauddin Tuku and Shahiduddin Chowdhuty Aney are also accused in the case. The case statement says there were arson and torching of vehicles from Shantibagh to Malibagh cross- section under Ramna Police Station on March 2 last year.
