Police arrested a fake member of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) from Ullapara upazila of the district on Monday.
The arrestee was identified as Dipak Chandra, son of late Anil Chandra, a resident of Amdanga village in Ullapara upazila. Sub-inspector of Ullapara Police Station Jell Haque said Anil had long been cheating people by identifying himself as a member of Rab.
