Staff Reporter: A fake note factory of Bangaldeshi currency have been found in Dhanmondi in the capital on Friday.
Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) members said it.
Major Shahriar Ziaur Rahman, second-in-command of Rab-10, confirmed it to journalists.
He said that the Rab has busted a factory of manufacturing fake currency in Dhanmondi.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of Rab-10 conducted a drive at a flat of a building in Dhanmondi in the morning and found the factory, said the Rab official. The Rab team detained two persons from the spot.
According to the Rab, the detainees have been manufacturing the fake currency since four to five years.
The elite force recovered over Tk 1 crore of fake currencies and note manufacturing equipment from the factory.
