An imposter who identified himself as a magistrate at the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka was arrested from the premises of the CMM Court on the charge of fraudulence.
The arrestee was identified as Md Jewel Rana alias Sohel, 27. He hails from Tangail Sadar upazila.
His papers were identified fake. Later, he was handed over to Kotwali Police Station.
Moudud Howlader, Officer-in-Charge of Kotwali Police Station, has told newsmen that the man has been arrested on the charge of fraudulence.
Police were found filing a case against Jewel Rana in this regard.
