Police rounded up one fake lawyer from Chowkbazar area in city on Saturday.
The fake lawyer identified as Md. Jahangir Alam alias Dastagir(50) . The detained is the son of one Saidul Hoque of Younus Mansion of chowkbazar thana area. Duty officer of Chowkbazar thana Abdul Hannan told that basically Jahangir Alam is a deceiver and he deceives the innocent peoples identifying himself with different desginations like judge, lawyer of high court, judge court etc .
He was arrested in a case of deceiving . Police and court sources said he has no advocateship certificate and Bar council registration though he is a LLB graduate. There are a numbers of allegations against him of deceiving the intending justice seekers with hope of mitigating the complaints between the plaintiffs and the accused.
He was sent to court yesterday for further actions at their end, police sources said.
