Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive unearthed a fake cigarette factory, seized a huge amount of fake cigarettes and cigarette making materials and sealed off the factory in Bonpara area of Baraigram upazila on Saturday afternoon.
A team of Rab-5, led by ASP Jamal Al Naser, conducted the drive in the area in the afternoon and detained Abdus Salam, the factory owner, and Abdur Rahim, owner of the house.
Later the elite force seized 90,000 packets of fake Gold Leaf cigarette.
