Police arrested a fake army member from Ambagh area of city on Sunday. The arrestee was identified as Abdul Awal Khan, 35, hailing from Fuljhari village of Barguna district.
Mobarak Hossain, in-charge of Konabari Police outpost, said Awal along with a woman had been living in the house of local Raju Ahmmed for a long time introducing him as an army man. Locals suspected them and informed police. On information police arrested him on Sunday night. Police filed a complaint against Awal in this connection.
