The city police on Saturday arrested a man from Mirpur in the capital. He introduced himself as the Assistant Commissioner (AC) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
The arrested person has been identified as Al Amin, 40, police said.
Kafrul Police Station’s Sub-Inspector (SI) Habibur Rahman said that the police arrested him from the city’s Mirpur Section-13 at around 4:30pm.
He said that, the police acted on a secret information, he is being
interrogated for gathering more information.
He further said that the police would take legal step against the accused after interrogation.
