Few days ago, noted singer Fahmida Nabi brought 10 new singers under a common platform. These singers rendered 10 songs each. Lyrics and tunes of all these songs were composed by Fahmida Nabi and recently deceased music director Borno arranged music of these songs. But sudden death of Borno made problem for Fahmida Nabi for a while. Fahmida is
hopeful that she could be able to discover Borno’s unfinished works. While talking in this regard Fahmida Nabi said, “I gave huge times and efforts to these 10 songs. I have many dreams around these songs. I have many loves and emotional feelings with these songs. The singers, who lent their voices for these songs, they also have their dreams around these. I am trying to discover these songs. Another talented singer Joy Shahriar was also working with Borno. Joy is co-operating me a lot to
discover musical arrangements of these songs. I hope I will be able to discover these songs completely. If it is not possible, then I have to work for these again in new way. But I believe
I do not give more efforts in this regard. May Allah help me.”
Fahmida Nabi informed Fahmida Rahman, Fahmida Fami, Shakila, Jenesa, Sohel, Pilu, Shammi, Shakil, Fagun and Rabu lent their voices for these songs. After discovering these songs, these songs will be released on YouTube channel of Fahmida Nabi after completing its studio version. In this project, Fahmida Nabi yet not give her voice for own song. Meanwhile, recently she has rendered a song titled Tomar Du’chokh Beye. She presented this song from her YouTube channel. She got the National Film Award for play-back in Nirjhar directed movie Aha! She first lent her voice for play-back song in movie Doordesh. Syed Abdul Hadi, Samina Chowdhury, Bappa Majumder, Shakila Jafar, among others rendered songs under Fahmida Nabi’s composition till now.
