Fahmida Nabi is the person of music. But she has already performed as a model in a TV commercial and also acted in a TV play as an actress.
In 2014, she first performed as a model in a TVC of GrameenPhone under Tanvir Hasan’s direction.
After a break of two years, she again performed as a model in a TVC of Classical Home Tex. Sayeed Khondoker and Jemy Sayeed jointly made the TVC. Shooting of the TVC was done in November 17 and 18.
While sharing her feelings to perform as a model again Fahmida Nabi told this correspondent, “This time concept of the TVC revolves with me. I am a singer. By rendering songs I have presented myself in the TVC. I have enjoyed a lot working in the TVC and I believe after airing viewers will also like it.”
In the TVC, a song rendered by Fahmida Nabi was used. But she does not want to disclose the song right now.
Meanwhile, works of two sisters – Fahmida Nabi and Samina Chowdhury’s first duet album Ek Akasher Gaan is going to be finished soon. They are expectinbg to release the album in coming Valentine’s Day. Zulfiqer Russell wrote lyrics of all the songs of the album.
