Country’s promising Fide Master Mohammad Fahad Rahman clinched National Sub-Junior (Under-16) Chess title for the 3rd time in a row with unbeaten record securing 6.7 points from seven matches that concluded on Sunday at the Bangladesh Chess Federation auditorium.
This was the 4th National Sub-Junior crown for Fahad Rahman, who also lifted the 14th Dubai Juniors Chess Tournament, the ‘Sheikh Maktoum Bin Hamdan Al Maktoum Cup’, held in Dubai Chess and Culture Club in July last.
After six consecutive wins in the just concluded 35th National Sub Junior Chess, Fahad drew with Asif Hasan in the 7th and last round match on Sunday.
