A three day long International Cleft -lip Palate and facial surgical camps was inaugurated by Railway Minister Mujibul Hoque MP yesterday at Port Hospital in the city.
Asmat Ali Khan Foundation organised the three day free surgical camps on Cleft-lip Palate in Collaboration with the help a Child Face Tomorrow (HCFT) Kenya.
The first face of the free camp beginning from 21st March to 27th March has been completed in Madaripur district hospital.
This is the second surgical phase of the camp is to take place in Chittagong Port Authority Hospital from 28th March to 2nd April.
The Camps were conducted by the professional experts from Africa,the USA,Nepal and Bangladesh representative.
Railway minister said that we are human beings we should serve another persons it is our responsibility . If we serve human beings we must rewarded from Allah. The Asmat ali Foundation serves humanitarian and poor people of our society. The minister thanks the organizer and hope the next step would be taken in Camilla for help of his Area.
The Inaugural function was presided by Md. Shajahan Khan MP Minister for Shipping . Rear Admiral Nizamuddin Ahmed (Tas),PSC,ndc, BN Chairman Chittagong Port Authority was present as special guest. Dr. M. Onguti, Chief Maxillo facial Surgon, Dr. M.R Khan Founder Bangladesh Medical Mission ,Dr. Anjana Dutta Chief Medical Officer Chittagong Port Hospital also spoke on the occassion.
Later, the surgical steps were inaugurated by the ministers in Chittagong Port Authority Hospital.
