FA Sumon (Faruk Ahmed Sumon) started his career in music arena as a vocalist and lead guitarist of a band named Ebong in 1996. Till now he has been attached with music. This January he will complete 20 years in his music career.
From the beginning of his career besides rendering songs, Sumon had fascination to compose others’ songs. Under his music composition and coordination there are more than 50 albums in the markets.
As a music director, Sumon has been passing busy days with playback songs of two films now. One is AR Rahman’s Ek Poloker Dekha and another is Rashed Polash’s Naiyor.
In playback arena, he first worked in Moin Biswas’ movie Pagol Tor Jonnorey. On the occasion of coming Valentine’s Day, Sumon is coming with three new songs which lyrics were written by Masud Ahmed. Sumon has composed all these songs. He will also render these songs, he said.
While sharing his feelings to render these songs FA Sumon told this correspondent, “While composing or rendering any song I always keep in mind the listeners’ choices. Still now I am still trying to learn music. When the listeners like my songs my efforts become successful. Everybody pray for me.”
