Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission (BAEC), as the implementation organisation of the project and owner of the company, stated that fake, baseless news on salaries of the employees of the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant (RNPP) was published in some newspapers and social media tarnishing image of the sensitive project of the government.
Therefore, explanation of the BAEC is the employees, working in the RNPP project, are regular manpower of the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission and they have been added to the project to implement it fairly. So, they take salary as per the government salary structure.
Besides, no driver or cooker is yet to be appointed. If anyone would appoint in future, salary will be TK 24,400. So, there is no question of giving salary to them.
