Expelled PEC students’ exams from tomorrow

The government has set December 24, 26 and 28 for about 200 expelled students to retake the Primary Education Completion (PEC) and Ebtedayee exams in line with a High Court order.
The Directorate of Primary Education (DPE) announced the new schedule on Sunday and forwarded it to all Deputy Commissioners and
District Education Officer, DPE sources on Sunday said.
Fifth graders will undertake the English examination on December 24 followed by the Science test later in the evening. The Bangla examination will be held on the morning of December 26 before the Bangladesh Affairs and Introduction of World Affairs exam in the evening.
The mathematics examination has been set for the morning of December 28 with the religion and moral education test rounding of the schedule later in the evening.
For Ebtedayee examination candidates, the English test will be held on the morning of December 24 followed by the Arabic examination in the evening.
Students will sit for the Bangla test on the morning of December 26 before taking the Bangladesh and global affairs examination in the evening.
The mathematics test is scheduled for the morning of December 28 followed by the Quran studies test in the evening.
The Morning exam will be held between 10am and 12:30 pm while the evening slot is from 2:00pm to 4:30 pm.
The results will be published on December 31.
On December 18, the High Court ordered the authorities to retakes for the expelled students by December 28 and publish the results by December 31.
