A six-member delegation led by Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Nurul Islam Bsc left here for Qatar on Tuesday.
During their visit, the team will meet Labour and Employment Minister of Qatar and discuss various issues including infrastructure development and sending manpower to Qatar, an official handout said here.
Other team members are Director General of Wage Earners’ Welfare Board Gazi Mohammad Julhas, Joint Secretary of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Ministry M Abdur Rauf, Deputy Secretary of the ministry Badrul Ariffin, Director of the Prime Minister’s Office M Nurul Islam and the minister’s personal secretary Mohsin Chowdhury.
The minister is scheduled to return home on February 6.
