Executive Chairman of Malaysian Binary University of Management and Entrepreneurship Prof Joseph Adaikalam met the Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman recently.
Prof Dr Asif, Dean of Binary Graduate School of the Malaysian University, and Prof Tahmina Akhtar of DU’s Institute of Social Welfare and Research were present on this occasion.
During the meeting at the DU VC’s office, they discussed the possibilities of taking joint collaborative academic and research programmes on management, information technology and entrepreneurship by the University of Dhaka and the Binary University of Management and Entrepreneurship, Malaysia.
They stressed producing skilled graduates for making Bangladesh a developed country. They also discussed the possibilities of establishment of “Asian Leadership Institute” at DU with the financial support from Malaysia to develop leadership quality of graduates. They have agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in this regard soon.
