Fazlur Rahman Babu is a multidimensional actor in TV dramas and films. There are some exceptional and challenging roles where there is no alternative except Babu. Director SM Kamruzzaman also thought about Babu to cast him in his special fiction drama titled Obodan.
While talking about acting in the drama Fazlur Rahman Babu said, “For the first time, I acted under Sagor’s direction. He tried his level best to present the story in the fiction drama cordially. Storywriter wrote its story sincerely. In a word, it has a nice script, also remarkable dialogues. While acting in the fiction drama I became very much emotional. Sagor has tried portraying a real fact in the story of the drama, which will surely touch minds of the viewers.”
Pappuraz wrote story of the drama, while produced by Saju Muntasir. Saika Ahmed, Shibly, Gazi Faruk, among others, also acted in other roles in the fiction drama. Play director Niaz Mahbub gave camera direction in the drama.
Meanwhile, Babu did not become regular in acting like previous times. He said that he will take part in shooting only for two days in a week due to Corona pandemic. If the situation is not improved, he will not regular in work. “During Corona time, we should maintain social distance,” he said.
Extra Artist was Babu-starrer last mentionable drama, which was telecasted on Dhruba TV directed by Tanvir. Gias Uddin Selim’s Paap Punnyo, Chayanika Chowdhury’s Biswo Sundori and Sumit’s Nona Joler Kabbo are Babu-starrer movies, which are waiting to release now. He got the National Film Awards for Abu Sayeed’s Shonkhonad, Nader Chowdhury’s Meyeti Ekhon Kothai Jabe and Badrul Anam Soud’s Gohin Baluchor.
