Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni has said the results of Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations will be published under Cumulative Grade Points Average (CGPA) 4 scale from 2020.
She said this during a press briefing at the Secretariat on Tuesday over JSC, JDC exam inactions scheduled to begin on November 2.
The minister also said, the government directed
the authorities of coaching centres to keep those shut for 12 days till November 5 for ensuring fair and copying-free examinations. She also directed all concerned to remain careful so that no one can spread any rumours on social media platforms regarding question leak.
“As many as 2,661,682 students from 29,662 educational institutions will appear in this year’s examinations. Of them, 1,221,695 are male and 1,439,987 are female” Education Minister Dipu Moni told a press briefing in the conference room of the ministry Tuesday (Oct 29).
“The number of JSC examinees is 22, 60,716 while 4,00,966 examinees will participate in the JDC examination this year,” she added. Of JSC examinees, 1,042,907 are male and 12, 17,809 are female while 78,788 are male and 2,00,178 are female in JDC examinees.
A total of 554 students from nine overseas centres will appear in the JSC examinations, she continued. The overseas centres are: Jeddah, Riyadh, Medina, Tripoli, Doha, Saham, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
