Professor Mohammad Ishaq, former Head of the Department of Biochemistry, BSMMU and Department of Biochemistry & Physiology of Dhaka Medical College, died of old age complications on Sunday at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). He was 85. He left behind his wife, two sons, three daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
His namaz-e-janaza will be held today at 10 am at BSMMU mosque. Later, he will be buried at his ancestral home at Gazra, Matlab North, Chandpur.
All his students, colleagues, friends, well-wishers and relatives are requested to attend the janaza and pray for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
