Former Awami League MP Amzad Hossain from Pabna-5 constituency passed away at a private hospital in Bogra early Sunday. He was 86.
Amzad, also national council member of AL, who had been suffering from old age complications, breathed his last at 3:00 am. He left behind one son and two daughters and a host of well-wishers to mourn his death.
In a message of condolence, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed her sympathy to the bereaved family members.
