Former Jatiya Party lawmaker from Manikganj-2 and valiant freedom fighter Abdur Rouf Khan died of old age ailment on Sunday (Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun). He was 86.
Rouf Khan died at his Dhaka residence in the morning, confirmed his brother Manikganj’s Shibalay upazila chairman valiant freedom fighter Rezaur Rahman Khan.
He left behind two sons, a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
Family sources said Rouf Khan will be buried at his village home at Ghonapara in Shibalay upazila after a namaj-e-janaza after Asr prayers today.
Before the burial, the valiant freedom fighter will be given a guard of honour.
