Former state minister for LGRD and Cooperatives Ziaul Haq Zia died at Bumrungrad Hospital in Bangkok on Friday.He was 65.
Zia, who had been suffering from cancer for long, breathed his last at the hospital at around 8:30 am, said BNP Chairperson’s
media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan. He left behind his wife Nasima, a son, a daughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death. Family sources said his body will reach here on Saturday noon. Zia was elected MP from Laxmipur-1 constituency (Ramganj) with BNP ticket for four times.
