Fatema Johra Begum, mother of former CCC Mayor and General Secretary of City Awami League AJM Nasir Uddin, is no more.
She died at a private hospital in the city at 9.30am on Monday (January 31).Apart from Asr, Janaza prayers will be held at the premises of Jamiatul Falah National Mosque.CCC Mayor Rezaul Karim Chowdhury, former administrator Khorshed Alam Sujan, General Secretary of Professional Coordination Council Riaz Haider Chowdhury, BGMEA first vice president Syed Nazrul Islam, BMA president Dr. Mujibul Haque Khan, human rights organizer Aminul Haque Babu and others expressed shock at the demise of the mother of AJM Nasir.
Chattogram Press Club President Ali Abbas and General Secretary Chowdhury Farid have expressed deep grief over the death of AJM Nasir Uddin’s mother. In a statement, they sought forgiveness of the departed soul and conveyed their deepest condolences to the bereaved family. Chittagong Journalists Union President Mohammad Ali and General Secretary Shamsul Islam, in a separate statement, expressed deep sorrow and condolences to the family members.
