Former Joint Secretary of the Planning Commission Sri Ranodhir Barua expired at a hospital in the capital recently. He was 78.
He was cremated at the Bouddha Mandir in city’s Sabujbagh on Monday last.
He is survived by his wife, three daughters, only son and a host of colleagues, friends, relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
He hailed from Lakhera village under Patia Upazila of Chittagong district.
