Detectives in a drive arrested the ex-husband of slain female banker Arifun Nesa from Dhanbari in Tangail district on Friday in connection with the murder of the banker. Tipped off, a team of DB (South) police of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, conducted a drive in the area and arrested Robin, said Deputy Commissioner (Media) of DMP Masudur Rahman.
Earlier on March 16, Arifun Nesa, 25, who used to work at Jamuna Bank’s Paltan branch, was hacked to death allegedly by her former husband in the city’s Central Road area.
