The Special Judge Court-1 of Dhaka yesterday (Monday) sentenced former Power Grid Deputy Manager Arshad Hossain to three years imprisonment in a graft case. The court also fined him Tk 50,000.
Judge Md Ataur Rahman of the Special Judge Court passed the order. But the accused was not present in the courtroom.
The court prosecutor said the court asked him to submit the fine within June 11. If, he failed to comply with, the court ordered to sell his entire property.
