Ex-DIG MN Huda passes away

Former secretary and deputy inspector general of police Muhammad Nurul Huda breathed his last due to old age complications at a city hospital yesterday. He was 87.
He left behind his wife, two sons, one daughter, five grandchildren and host of relatives to mourn his death.
His Namaz-e-Janaza will be held at Gulshan
Central Mosque after Zohr prayers today . He will be buried at Banani graveyard.
Huda joined the erstwhile Police Service of Pakistan (PSP) in 1953. During his career, Huda held many important positions in different districts, Police Headquarters and Special Police Establishment.
After Independence of the country, he was posted as DIG of Collaboration Cases in 1972. He was one of the founders of National Security intelligence (NSI). During his long tenure (1973-1985), he had a great contribution to the development of NSI. He was secretary in the Ministry of Planning (1986-1987) before retirement.
