Former Director General of the National Academy for Education Management (NAEM) and also freedom fighter Professor Shamsur Rahman died at Heustone in the United States of America on May 24 last. He was 66.
He left behind wife, two sons and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death. He was buried at Mirpur Intellectual Graveyard in the city on Saturday last after Namaz-e-Janaza.
A Doa Mahfil will be held at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in the city today after Asr Prayers.
All the relatives, friends and admirers of the deceased are requested to attend the Doa Mahfil and pray for the salvation of the departed soul.
