Former Director General (DG) of Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB) Engineer Abul Kalam Azad passed away at a hospital in Bogura in the early hours of Tuesday.
He joined BWDB as an Assistant Engineer in 1976 and retired as DG in 2009.
All the officials and employees of BWDB have expressed deep condolence over his death and extended profound sympathy to the bereaved family members.
